The XIV Meeting of the CIAT Correspondents Network concluded
The XIV Meeting of the CIAT International Network of Correspondents was held from September 3 to 5, 2018 in Panama City, with the participation of 24 member countries, mainly from the Americas and the Caribbean, as well as from Europe and Africa.
Mrs. Marisol Andrade, General Director of the Internal Revenue Service of Ecuador and Mr. Sergio Gómez, General Director of Internal Taxes of El Salvador.
The meeting also counted with the special participation of the General Director of the General Revenue Directorate of Panama, David Hidalgo; of the General Director of the Internal Revenue Service of Ecuador, Marisol Andrade; and the General Director of Internal Taxes of El Salvador, Sergio Gómez. In addition, Sarah Adelberger from ITC and Trond Augdal from the Norwegian Agency for Cooperation and Development also participated.
The working sessions were chaired by the Executive Secretary, Marcio F. Verdi, with the participation of the Directors, Managers and Coordinators of the respective areas of the CIAT Executive Secretariat, and the Chiefs of Permanent Missions before CIAT: Stefano Gesuelli (Italy) and Juan Francisco Redondo (Spain).
The CIAT’s Network of Correspondents constitutes one of the most important factors of synergy and permanent high-level support for the institutional and technical activities of the Secretariat, as well as cooperation among member countries.
