In view of the need for the MyCIAT Community to access basic information about the tax systems and tax administrations of CIAT member countries, the CIAT Executive Secretariat provides free of charge the CIATData service, which in a first phase provides data primarily for Latin American countries.
You will find in this section a short description of the countries’ tax systems, the characteristics of their tax administration and the recent developments in collection. Also available are references to current tax laws, historical comparisons of the main tax rates and details about Conventions to Avoid Double Taxation and / or Tax Information Exchange Agreements signed by the countries.
