The 66th National Meeting of State Tax Coordinators and Administrators (ENCAT in Portuguese) took place on March 27 and 28, 2019, in Brasilia, and brought together representatives of the country to discuss solutions to improve the collection of the states’ revenues.

The main topic discussed during the two days was Blockchain (distributed registration technology that seeks decentralization as a security measure) in the tax administration, presented by Raul Zambrano, CIAT Director of Technical Assistance and ICT.
