The CIAT Executive Secretary, Mr. Marcio F. Verdi participated in the event “International Socialization, Colombian experience, fight against fraud and corruption – Finance Sector“, of the Special Administrative Agency Unit of the General Inspector’s for Taxes, Revenues and Parafiscal Contributions – ITRC Agency – held in Bogotá, Colombia, from September 10 to 12, 2019.

The objective of the event was to share the practices implemented by risk management and disciplinary investigation units and to determine common schemes of cooperation in the fight against fraud and corruption in tax collection and tax administration in Latin American countries.

Mr. Verdi participated in the discussion “Inter-institutional anti-corruption strategies” with the topic “International cooperation and joint actions to improve anti-corruption practices in Ibero-American tax administrations“.
