On September 27-29, CIAT Executive Secretary Mr. Marcio F. Verdi participated in the Plenary Meeting of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Tax Administration Forum (FTA) in Oslo, Norway.

In said event, Mr. Marcio F. Verdi, joined other panelists on the topic: “Working together to increase tax capacity”.

The Forum on Tax Administration (FTA) brings together Tax Commissioners from 50 advanced and emerging tax administrations (including both OECD and G20 countries).

Among the topics discussed at the meeting are the implementation of the results of the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting Project, the exchange of information on offshore accounts, improvement of legal security in tax relations, fighting the informal economy and the digital transformation of tax administrations through the use of new technologies, tools of analysis and new sources of information.
