CIAT Executive Secretary, Márcio F. Verdi, was invited by the State Administration of Taxation of China (STA) as a speaker at the High-Level Symposium on Digital Transformation of Tax Administrations held in Beijing on October 18-20.

Mr. Verdi presented the applications developed by CIAT for Tax Compliance of Digital Economy Companies (DEC); and of the Anomaly Detector in the mega databases of electronic invoicing with the use of Artificial Intelligence (e-IAD), the latter developed at CIAT’s Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Center.

Additionally, Mr. Verdi was the Moderator of the final Round Table on Cross-Border Interoperability, with the participation of the Tax Administration of the P.R. of China; the Tax Administration of Indonesia; OECD; IEFD; and Huawei Technologies.
