On Wednesday, June 14, CIAT held together with the OECD’s Forum on Tax Administration (FTA) a workshop on the Use of the Digital Transformation Maturity Model of the Forum on Tax Administration (MMTD).

The event began with the words of Mr. Raul Zambrano, on behalf of CIAT and Mr. Vegard Holmedahl, on behalf of the FTA, where they spoke about the digital maturity tool for organizations, in which more than 55 tax administrations have been evaluated.

Subsequently, Ms. Yaqueline Lecca presented the results of SUNAT’s application of this tool, which has allowed them to create the roadmap of the Digital Transformation Plan, taking improvement actions for different areas.

From the IDB, we were accompanied by Gerardo Reyes-Tagle where he shared the experiences of the IDB digital transformation tool; this tool has been used in Colombia, Chile, Uruguay, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, among others.
