With as main topic “The Examination Function of the Tax Administration”, the CIAT Technical Conference took place in Rome, Italy, under the auspice of the Guardia di Finanza.

The conference was inaugurated in presence of Mr. Pier Carlo Padoan, Minister of Economy and Finance of Italy; General Saverio Capolupo, Commander of the Guardia di Finanza; Mr. Martin Ramos, President of the CIAT Executive Council, and Mr. Marcio Verdi, CIAT Executive Secretary.
