Colombia – Tax collection administered by DIAN increased 13.2%
In October, the gross collection of taxes administered by the Directorate of National Taxes and Customs (DIAN) was $ 8.8 trillion, indicating a growth of 13.2% compared to the same period of 2017, when the figure of $ 7.7 trillion was recorded. This growth is mainly explained by the performance of the collection of withholding at source, which amounted to $ 4.5 trillion, representing an increase of 8.7% compared to 2017 and a contribution to the variation of 4.6%.
