The Executive Secretary of CIAT Mr. Marcio Verdi, participated in the 7th Fiscal Policy Forum of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC Forum), held on November 14-15, 2017 in Asuncion, Paraguay. This event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Finance and the Regional Program of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), with support from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the World Bank (WB), the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT).

The objective of this event was to discuss the strengthening of social inclusion through the role of tax policy in Latin American countries.
