CIAT Participated in the 30th IOTA General Assembly in Hungary
From June 17 to 19, 2026, the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT) participated in the 30th General Assembly of the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA), held in Budapest, Hungary, under the theme “Strengthening the Capacity of Tax Administrations to Address Tax Compliance Challenges Through the Use of Artificial Intelligence and Behavioral Sciences.”
The CIAT was represented by its Executive Secretary, Mr. Márcio Ferreira Verdi, at this meeting which brought together leaders and specialists from tax administrations to exchange experiences and analyze the impact of artificial intelligence, behavioral science, and other innovative tools on strengthening tax compliance and digital transformation.
CIAT’s participation reaffirms its commitment to international cooperation, knowledge sharing, and the promotion of initiatives aimed at strengthening the tax administrations of its member countries.
