Dominican Republic- DGII beats income record; meets and surpasses goal for the first time in 9 years
The Directorate General of Internal Taxation (DGII) collected in 2017 an amount of RD $386,182 million, surpassing the goal budgeted by some Rd $2,080 million, a milestone that is registered for the first time since 2008, 9 years ago, and that occurs at a juncture of economic slowdown, the state entity says in a preliminary report preliminar.
