Within the framework of the mission to Beijing, the CIAT Executive Secretary, Márcio f. Verdi, was invited by the P.R. China authorities to the Grand Opening of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.

The ceremony presided over by the President of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Xi Jinping, took place at the Great Hall of the People, on October 18, with the presence of presidents of countries, ministers, and heads of international organizations.
