On the occasion of the “XXIII Fiscal Policy Regional Seminar ” organized by ECLAC, the authorities of CIAT and ECLAC signed on January 18, 2011 a “Cooperation Agreement for the Coordination and Execution of Statistics, Studies, and Training Events and Activities”.

Alicia Bárcena, Executive Secretary of ECLAC and Márcio Verdi, CIAT Executive Secretary, publicly expressed their interest in implementing the aforementioned agreement as soon as possible, for which purpose they will draft an “Annual Collaboration Plan” stating the commitments of both parties each year.

The agreement will have an initial 3-year duration.
