The Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT) and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) have coordinated efforts to develop the project: Improvement of the Collection System in the Cuban Tax Administration – CIAT/NORAD Program at the ONAT. 

Within the framework of said project, a face-to-face mission was carried out from September 12 to 16, 2022, with the participation of CIAT consultants and ONAT authorities. The working sessions were highly productive and of high impact for strategic decision-making on the project, reinforcing some of the considerations made in the diagnostic phase of the consultancy, as well as clarifying others.

The hard work of the ONAT team for the development of this mission is highly appreciated. This was key for completing the work agenda, its objectives and its success. In addition, the ONAT’s senior management is determined to carry out the project and meet its objectives.
