On February 3 and 4, 2026, as part of the start of the annual calendar of activities, the Executive Secretary of CIAT, Mr. Márcio Verdi paid an institutional visit to the Federal Revenue Service, with the aim of strengthening dialogue and institutional cooperation.

During the visit, he acted as moderator in discussions between authorities, promoting open and constructive dialogue. He held meetings with the Special Secretary of the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service, Robinson Sakiyama Barreirinhas; the Deputy Special Secretary of the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service, Adriana Gomes Rêgo; and other authorities. He also encountered the Executive Secretary of the Brazilian Ministry of Finance, Dario Carnevalli Durigan.

The visit reaffirmed CIAT’s commitment to technical cooperation and strengthening institutional relations among its member countries.
