In the framework of the collaboration program that the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT) maintains with the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), the Directorate General of Revenue of Panama (DGI) On 23 and 24 January 2017, to an expert from the Uruguayan General Taxation Directorate (DGI).

The purpose of the activity was to conduct a detailed analysis of the provisions of the Multilateral Instrument (MLI) described in Action 15 of the Inclusive Framework on BEPS.

A workshop was also held, in which the technical and advisor team of the DGI of Panama participated. These actions will guide the revision of the Tax Conventions.
