CIAT participated in the 27th CeATS Technical Conference
On April 9 and 10, 2026, in Buenos Aires, the Center for Subnational Tax Administrations (CeATS) held its 27th Technical Conference under the theme “The Present and Future of Tax Administrations,” bringing together experts to analyze the sector’s main challenges in the context of digital transformation and innovation.
The Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT) participated in the event, providing an international perspective on the evolution of tax administrations. A highlight was the presentation by its Executive Secretary, Márcio Ferreira Verdi, who addressed the region’s challenges regarding modernization and cooperation.
The meeting also featured the participation of international experts and tax authorities, who shared experiences and best practices on management, technology, data, and public financing.
The sessions brought together officials and professionals from the sector, establishing itself as a key forum for knowledge sharing, to strengthen cooperation among tax authorities.
