Within the framework of these projects, a face-to-face technical roundtable was held on November 7 to 9, 2022 in Panama, with the participation of CIAT Executives and the Managers of the technology company in charge of developing the new DEC II modules for the collection and compliance control of taxpayers of the digital economy without physical presence in a country. During the meetings, the status of the project and the current development situation were evaluated, changes were recommended, and new functionalities were specified to optimize the tool and obtain a better-quality product.
