Jimena Hernández Varela holds a Doctorate in Law and Social Sciences from the Faculty of Law of the University of the Republic (Uruguay). She is a Professor of Information Technology Law and Legal Informatics at the Faculty of Law of the University of the Republic (UDELAR). She holds a Diploma in Governance and Public Innovation. She has more than 15 years of national and international experience advising on Digital Law and in the design and implementation of regulatory frameworks in Uruguay and across the region.
