As part of its comprehensive duties relative to tax research and studies, CIAT’s Executive Secretariat carries out a series of initiatives including the granting of a research scholarship and an essay contest. Both activities are undertaken biennially under the Technical Cooperation Agreement signed between CIAT and the Spanish State Secretariat of Finance and Budgeting. To this end, the Tax Administration State Agency and/or the Institute of Tax Studies are CIAT’s counterparty in the performance of the activities mentioned.
