The Technical Conferences, fora for the discussion of specialized tax topics, are aimed at representatives and officials of the technical areas in the tax administrations of CIAT member countries and associate member countries. 

Officials from other countries and international organizations who work in the tax field are invited to participate in this relevant international event.

Just like in the case of the General Assembly, the central topic of the Technical Conference is defined on the basis of the opinion of all the representatives of the tax administrations of the member countries and associate member countries.
