The Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations and the Internal Revenue Service of Ecuador will be conducting a Seminar on Tax Intelligence in Quito, Ecuador on December 7-9, 2009.

The Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations, invites all officials of the tax administrations of its member countries in charge of the tax control and assessment function or working in normative or technical areas related to said function, to participate in the seminar on “Control of Financial Instruments and Derivatives”.

The meeting of Public Finance School directors was successfully held in Brasilia, Brazil, on October 6-8. It was jointly organized by the School of Finance Administration – ESAF and the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations – CIAT, and brought together directors of government schools and centers and institutes for the training and development of professionals of the public finance administrations of the CIAT member countries.

The Federal Administration of Public Revenues of Argentina is promoting the development of projects aimed at facilitating compliance with tax obligations and strengthening its control capacity, based on the application of modern technology.
